ROMERO
K. Swope Romero is a diverse author and filmmaker of mystery-driven dramas with a focus on social issues and a splash of death. Before serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in Jamaica, she studied Human Sciences and Psychology. Her unique experience informs her complex female leads as they navigate loss, challenge stereotypes, and battle the dynamics of identity while exploring how their past, present, and future intersect.
She is based between Los Angeles & New York.

When she’s not writing or filming on set, K enjoys Creative Directing user generated content and events for brands, as well as capturing BTS photography she’s passionate about using her Yashica Electro 35 Rangefinder and Leica Mini Zoom. Her travels have inspired and honed her eye for observing the extraordinary in the mundane, which ultimately serves the authenticity of her writing and videography.
